THIS PAST WEEK....

Um so this past week went really slow for me. Mondays and Wednesdays are ALWAYS my busiest days due to 4 classes, mtgs, org things, and such. I'm still psyched about my A on my psych exam but I am definitely preparing for the next one.

Nobody got on my nerves I think lol

I chatted up with DJ, Stacia, April, and Dr. Kirby which is ALWAYS a pleasure to hear words from those that care about my well-being. I tried to speak to Mary-Louise but she is never around lol(she cares too)

I went to the Study Abroad fair and I sooooooo want to go to ENGLAND!!!!!!!!!! Only for the summer but I still want to go!!!

I didn't go to BPG but Impact went great and the fellowship afterward was cool

We had a study session @ the apt and it was so much fun!!!!(pics coming soon)

Had a quiz in math and finished watching DO THE RIGHT THING in race and ethnic relations

Hey! It's a ya girl B.Morgan back for another semester!!!! This year is kicking off right as far as I'm concerned. I'm more focused, have so much more balance, and staying positive is drawing a lot of positivity to me.

I will admit that I made a few mistakes last semester that led to major consequences, but I have learned from them and made the turnaround so with that, all things are looking good!!!

UM....I GUESS I'M MAKING IT!!!

Huh....this semester has had its ups and downs and I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ready to move back home and do it all again next semester lol. Finals are approaching and my mind feels like it's in 500 different directions!!!!! Word of advice: STUDY!!! Study like your life depends on it!!!! Make the grade, it will ULTIMATELY benefit you in the END!!!!

haha I just made a funny lol. um, today is pretty decent but i'm so ready to end spring semester. I can't wait for camp and to begin my summer vacation off right!!!

tHINGS cOMING uP....

Hunger Clean-Up which will be held Saturday, April 21, 2007 and IMPACT will definitely be there!!!! It is ALWAYS nice to do something to help out the community.

IMPACT and all of those who helped make our 1st Annual Hallelujah Fest a success especially JESUS!!!!! It was an awesome night of praise, worship, and fellowship.

Sometimes it's SOOOOOOOOOOOO hard....

Living for Christ but it's also SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO worth it!!! I wouldn't rather have anything or anyone else than Jesus. I justy love how He is moving me. I'm making it this semester only because of Him.

SO...ANOTHER WEDNESDAY HAS PASSED AND WE ALL KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS....IMPACT!!!!!
BUT FIRST, LET ME START OFF CONGRATULATING ALL OF THOSE WHO DID AN EXCELLENT JOB TODAY FOR THE BLACK HISTORY MONTH KICK-OFF!!! THANKS TO: OMSA, BSU, BPG, AND OTHER ORGS. THERE WAS AFRICAN DANCING IN MAIN PLACE, WE HELD IT DOWN AT JAVA CITY FOR THE POETRY READING, AND THERE WAS JAZZ MUSIC BEING PLAYED IN THE CAFE! GREAT WORK EVERYBODY!!!

NOW ON TO OTHER THINGS...

SO, WE ARE IN A MONTH OF THE SCHOOL YEAR ALREADY AND IT FEELS LIKE IT'S ONLY BEEN 2 WEEKS LOL BUT HERE ARE SOME THINGS TO CONSIDER:

1. SEEING WHERE YOU ARE AT IN YOUR CLASSES SO YOU CAN SEE WHAT IT IS YOU NEED HELP IN.

2. FORMING STUDY GROUPS TO BETTER PREPARE YOURSELF FOR ANY UPCOMING TESTS/QUIZZES.

3. SEEKING HELP WHERE NEEDED!

LAST WEEK...

IMPACT WAS GREAT! IT WAS A GOOD VALENTINE'S DAY AND AND OUR SKIT WENT JUST AS GOD WANTED IT TO! YAY! THANKS TO: BRANDON, BILLY, DAMON, CLARISSA, CHRISTIAN, STACIA, WHITNEY, AND ALESHA!!! YOU GUYS WERE GREAT!!!!

THURSDAY WAS THE BASKETBALL G AME AGAINST INDIANA. PARKISDE WON! BUT THE BOYS WERE SCARING ME A BIT BECAUSE THEY WERE LOSING MOST OF THE TIME. IT WAS FUN AND THEY LET US DO THE LIMO THING AGAIN WHICH WAS GREAT! WE ALSO HAD A COMEDIAN COME IN AND TELL A FEW JOKES THANKS PAB(PARKSIDE'S ACTIVITY BOARD).

NEW YEAR, NEW SEMESTER, NEW ME!!!!!!!

FIRST.....my apologies guys for taking SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO long to blog!!! Now, that I'm back you can be sure that there will be weekly updates!!!

WELCOME BACK ~ WELCOME BACK ~ WELCOME BACK ~ WELCOME BACK~

It's so nice to see ALL the lovely returning faces and NEW ones as well. I hope that everyone has had an awesome break and ALL ready to come back and handle BUSINESS!!!!

SO TO RECAP MY WONDERFUL WINTER BREAK....

* Yes, I did go to Atlanta, GA for the National Impact Conference!!!!! It was excellent! The Lord was definitely up in that place and it was so nice seeing all of the young men and women of God. It was such a BLESSING just to be able to go! My IMPACT buddies and I definitely represented for UW-Parkside even though it was just six of us from the school! We brought in the NEW YEAR the best way I know how, praising the Lord!!! We had amazing speakers and it didn't hurt that we had performances from Da T.R.U.T.H, Flame, Israel and New Breed, Tye Tribbett, Kirk Franklin, and others!!! I even got to take a picture with Tye Tribbett!!! WOWZER....then, what really made the conference worth it was the OUTREACH MINISTRY that we did around the downtown Atlanta area.

*I also did other random things with family and friends...FUN, FUN, FUN...Now, back to REALITY...

So far, the semester is going REALLY good. Weird isn't it??????????????????????????

ORGANIZATIONS ON THE COME-UP:

BPG(Black Players' Guild) : I'm so proud to be a member of this org because it's not geared to just BLACK people but really for anyone who has unseen talent and deserves the exposure!!! We're looking for potential singers, rappers, actors, poets, comedians, and dancers so we can view what you got and see that enhanced as well as expose you to the talents you didn't even know you have!!!
Meetings are Mondays @ 8pm in Moln d132. Hope to see you there!

IMPACT MOVEMENT: One of the BEST Christian orgs on campus. We're moving to another level people and we want YOU there with us. We're just letting God have His way in our lives and spreading the gospel wherever possible. We now have praise and worship and we talk about things that matter to YOU. Come and grow in the Lord and see what He has in store for YOU!!!
